“With the all-new Silverado, we’ve taken the best truck on the road
and made it even better. . . ”
– Mark Reuss, General Motors executive vice president of Global Product Development, Purchasing and Supply Chain
Exactly 100 years after Chevrolet revealed its first trucks to customers in 1918, the next-generation Silverado was introduced to truck lovers around the world. Sure to change the game for future Chevy Trucks, the 2019 Silverado offers a functional work space, performance that won’t compromise, as well as a broad range of trim and engine/transmission combinations for buyers to choose from.
LARGER AND MORE FUNCTIONAL
The bed is arguably the most important feature for buyers when it comes to choosing the right pickup truck; something that Chevy takes very seriously. To build upon their legacy of strength, the 2019 Silverado bed features a Best-in-Class Cargo Volume of 63 cubic feet, a higher-strength steel floor, 12 stronger tie-downs to handle up to 500 pounds of force, 120-volt power outlet, class-executive CornerStep bumpers to better accommodate steel-toed boots and more!
LARGER AND LIGHTER
Larger than any previous model, the 2019 Silverado was designed with a wheelbase that is 3.9 inches longer and an overall length of 1.6 inches longer to accommodate more cargo and more interior space. With a lighter weight (450 pounds lighter, to be exact), advanced manufacturing processes throughout the Silverado has optimized its mass, durability, safety and functionality.
Powered by your choice of a new 5.3L and 6.2L V-8 with an industry-first Dynamic Fuel Management, the 2019 Silverado offers more combinations or performance, efficiency and value than ever before. This next-generation Chevrolet is truly designed to meet the specific needs of its driver.
Knowing that their customers use the Silverado for various purposes, including hauling cargo and transporting people, Chevrolet ensured that the 2019 model was designed with more comfortable seating, more interior cargo space and more functional, easy-to-use controls. In fact, the 2019 Silverado now offers 43.8 inches of rear-seat legroom and 44.5 inches of front legroom.
Buyers have the choice of adding available storage options, including two 10-liter bins integrated into the second-row seatbacks OR a large 24-liter storage tray under the second-row seat. So, whether you’re grabbing groceries or heading to the lake, the 2019 Silverado can secure everything from milk to fishing rods.
The Silverado was already the first pickup truck on the market to offer 4G LTE Wi-Fi connectivity, Apple Car Play, Android Auto, wireless phone charging and OnStar safety & security features.
Stay tuned for the arrival of the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado at JBA!
